Loch Café

Conjoined to our building we have Townhill Loch Café, a locally run business with a wide array of cakes and coffees. With inside and outdoor seating, it’s a great place to grab a snack or lunch with superb views of the loch for spectators.

The Loch

The loch itself has a path that goes all the way around, perfect for spotting nature on a walk or cycle. Here you can see ducks, swans, herons and, if you look closely, night bats! It offers on land spectators various views of the boat cruising up and down the water. Just five minutes walk from here there is also a village park which is great for younger kids!

Dunfermline Centre

Dunfermline Centre is a five-minute drive away or under half an hour’s walk. Known as the old capital there are several tourist attractions not to be missed when in the area. Walk and play in the giant Pittencrieff Park and awe at the statue of Andrew Carnegie, and if you want to know some more you can visit the Andrew Carnegie birthplace museum and see where the industrialist grew up and went on to become one of the richest Americans in history. The Abbey and Dunfermline Palace are also close by if you want to delve into the history of the ancient capital. There are several eateries around the town as well as plenty of shops if you were to make your visit to us into a day trip!

Knockhill Racing Circuit

If your thrill seeking doesn’t end with water sports you can check out Knockhill Racing Circuit, with several highspeed options as well as the opportunity to drive several supercars it’s a great end to an adrenaline-packed day.

Fife Leisure Park

Fife Leisure Park is a ten-minute drive from our centre with frequent public transport links. It’s packed with things to do such as mini-golf, bowling, a spa, a garden centre and an Odeon Cinema. With a huge choice of restaurants as well it’s a great place to kick back after a fun day on the water!
