Shallow Water Update - Temporary Changes to Operations at Town Loch

Due to the current water levels at Town Loch, we've made some temporary adjustments to our operating procedures. These changes are designed to keep everyone safe, protect our boats and allow us to continue running sessions as smoothly as possible. 

What's Changing

• All turns and pick-ups will now take place in the deepest areas of the loch – no manoeuvring near the shorelines. 
• All participants will receive a short briefing before their session to explain the adjusted procedures. 

Launching and Pick-Ups

• Boats will not go inside the yellow buoy at the dock. 
• Participants will enter the water from the dock or slipway and swim to the boat. 
• For Beginners Experiences, the boat crew will consist of a driver and one coach/observer only. 
• If a participant falls, the coach/observer will retrieve and re-throw the line while the boat remains mid-loch, avoiding shallow approaches. 
• Participants should wait with their ski or board until the line is returned.
